Why Choose Colorbond?

Steel fencing engineered for Australian conditions — built once, lasts decades.

Zero Maintenance

No painting, no oiling, no warping, no rotting. Rinse it with a hose once a year — that's it. Looks the same in year 15 as day one.

Fire Resistant

Steel doesn't burn. In bushfire-prone areas of the hinterland and Noosa hinterland, Colorbond gives you an extra layer of protection.

Termite Proof

Unlike timber, steel is completely immune to termites. No chemical treatments needed — ever.

Cyclone-Rated

Properly installed Colorbond fences handle extreme winds. We engineer every fence for the wind rating of your specific location.

20 Colour Options

Full Colorbond palette available. I'll bring a swatch to your quote so you can pick the perfect match for your house and landscape.

25+ Year Lifespan

Colorbond steel carries a BlueScope warranty and typically lasts 25–40 years in coastal conditions with zero maintenance.

How We Install Your Colorbond Fence

A clean, efficient process — most jobs done in 1–2 days.

Colorbond panels, posts, and rails are ordered to your exact colour and height. We mark out the line, check for underground services, and prep the site — all before a single panel goes up.

03

Install Day/s

Posts are set in concrete footings, then rails and panels go up. Every panel is laser-levelled and fixed with Colorbond-matched screws. Fast, clean, and precise.

04

We walk the fence line with you, check every panel and gate, and don't leave until you're 100% happy. Site left clean — no offcuts, no concrete spills, no mess.

What Our Customers Say

Our Monument Colorbond fence in Buderim looks fantastic — clean lines, no gaps, and the colour matches the house perfectly. Josh had it done in two days flat.

David & Lisa H.

Buderim

Replaced an old rotting timber fence with Woodland Grey Colorbond. The difference is night and day — no maintenance, looks modern, and the neighbours love it too.

Colorbond Fencing FAQs

Why choose Colorbond over timber?+
Colorbond is zero-maintenance — no painting, no oiling, no rot, no termites. It handles the Coast's humidity without warping and the QLD sun without fading. It's also fire-resistant, which matters in bushfire-prone areas. The trade-off is higher upfront cost, but it pays for itself in saved maintenance over 20+ years.
What colours are available?+
We supply the full Colorbond range of 20 colours — Surfmist, Monument, Woodland Grey, Basalt, Dune, Pale Eucalypt, Ironstone, Deep Ocean, Shale Grey, Cottage Green, Jasper and more. I'll bring a colour swatch to your quote visit so you can see how each looks against your house.
Will Colorbond fencing rust on the coast?+
Colorbond steel is specifically engineered for Australian coastal conditions. The Zincalume or galvanised base with baked-on colour coating resists corrosion even in salt-air environments. We've installed Colorbond fences metres from the beach in Noosa and Sunshine Beach — they're holding up perfectly.
How long does Colorbond fencing last?+
Colorbond fencing typically lasts 25–40+ years with no maintenance. The steel itself is guaranteed by BlueScope, and we back our installation with a workmanship warranty.
Can Colorbond handle high winds?+
Yes — Colorbond panels are fixed to steel or timber posts set in concrete footings. We use the correct post spacing and footing depth for the wind rating of your area. Colorbond fences have stood through cyclones up north — they handle the Coast's summer storms with no trouble.
How much does Colorbond fencing cost?+
Every quote is free, detailed, and fixed — tailored to your height, colour, ground conditions, and gate requirements. For an instant estimate, try our Fencing Calculator on the homepage.
